TRC Technical Updates | Hoka Stinson ATR 6

Maximal cushioning meets offroad stability. The HOKA range is known for their maximal midsoles and rocker geometry that shifts load away from the ankle (looking after tissues such as the calves, Achilles & arch), making them very popular with those looking to tackle longer distances or shift load away from troublesome areas. Their trail range carries these origins with some additional features that create a stable ride on & off the road.
There's a LOT of a shoe in the Stinson ATR 6, but it comes at a relatively low weight making it a great option for those looking to be out on the trails for extended periods. The wide base and straight last provide a very stable platform to spread out load and account for surface variability on the trails.
The lugs are also designed in such a way to provide off-road stability without compromising durability on the road if you're looking at dual usage.
If you're currently in a maximal volume trainer (e.g. Hoka Bondi or Clifton) and are wanting something to look after you on the trails, we'd recommend trying on the Stinson ATR 6!
