The Ride of a shoe is defined as the feeling a runner will get as they move through the stance phase of the gait cycle - i.e. from ground contact to toe-off.
Different shoes will have different Ride's and the same shoe will have a different ride on different people - it's all about how your foot interacts with the shoe.
ASICS have now introduced a new model (the Nimbus LITE) to their traditional Nimbus line up that removes the traditional Gel cushioning and mid foot trussic, leaving the shoe with a uniform cushioning material (Flyte Foam) from heel to toe.
This presents as lighter option that will have a softer and smoother ride vs. the new Nimbus 22
